April 15, 2025, 3,392 HD; Last Week,1,414 hd;2,266 a year ago Compared to last week, steer calves under 600 lbs gained back all the losses from last week and then some selling sharply higher, while the yearling steers have been lightly tested over the last few weeks, but several loads and packages were offered and sold with a higher undertone. Heifer calves sold 5.00-20.00 higher, and yearling heifers sold steady to 4.00 higher. Slaughter cows & bulls sold steady-$5 higher
