November 12, 2024, 1,992 hd; Last Week,1,064 hd; 2,094 a year agoCompared to last week’s light test, steer and heifer calves under 700 lbs that were un-weaned and/or carrying flesh made up the majority of the calf run and sold 5.00-10.00 lower, spots 15.00 lower but the longer weaned yearlings sold steady to 5.00 higher. A few groups of weaned steers and heifer calves weighing 400-500 lbs sold near steady. Slaughter cows & bulls sold steady.
